Description

A one-kopeck coin from the period of the Russian Empire. Made of a copper-nickel alloy. On the obverse, within a central circle, are the inscriptions “1 Kopeck,” “SPB,” and “Russian copper coin.” The upper part bears the date “1899,” while the lower part is decorated with floral ornamentation. The reverse features the state coat of arms of the Russian Empire surrounded by a circular inscription. The upper section reads “Russian copper coin,” and the lower section reads “one kopeck.” The coin was used in the monetary circulation of the Russian Empire.
