Description
The exhibit consists of the Order of the Red Banner of Labour and its accompanying award certificate. The order features a complex composition with a golden hammer and sickle in the center, surrounded by a cogwheel and a wreath of wheat ears. The upper part bears a red enamel banner inscribed “USSR”, while a small red star is placed below. The decoration is attached to a pentagonal suspension covered with a blue moiré ribbon. The certificate records the recipient’s name, K. Kostanov, the award title, order number No. 62584, the date of issue - 2 September 1948, and certificate number No. 738560. The ensemble is an important historical and memorial object illustrating the Soviet system of state awards for outstanding labour achievements.
