“Excellent Service” Badge

Description

The badge is shield-shaped and framed by stylized laurel branches. Its central oval medallion depicts a serviceman holding a weapon against the background of a tower interpreted as an architectural monument. A red five-pointed star bearing the hammer and sickle is placed in the upper section. The inscription “ОТЛИЧНИК СЛУЖБЫ” (“Excellent Service”) runs along the sides, while the lower red ribbon bears the abbreviation “ВВ МООП,” referring to the Internal Troops of the Ministry for the Protection of Public Order. The badge was intended to recognize exemplary service by enlisted and sergeant personnel.
