Description

The falconer’s tools consist of three items: the glove, the hood, and the jess. The glove is made from tanned leather, its edges stitched with nylon thread. The top surface of the glove has aged.
The hood is worn on the falconer’s head. It is made of leather, with the top sewn together. The front of the hood is rounded. The bottom part of the hood is wrapped and sewn with white cloth. The jess is made of leather. The top part is folded from black rectangular leather, with small separate tassels of leather stitched at the ends using nylon thread. At the end of the stitching, the leather is bound with a light brown thread, and the next part of the jess is braided in an elongated shape with yellowish leather in an eight-strand braid, with a length of 32 cm. The ends of the eight-strand braid are divided into two sections and braided with four strands. The ends of the divided four strands are wrapped with nylon thread and burnt.
