Bracelet Composed of Three Connected Sections

Description

The 19th-century bracelet is a substantial composite ornament consisting of three interconnected silver sections. Its multi-part construction gives the object considerable volume and a monumental character. Eighteen oval red agate inserts are symmetrically arranged across the silver surface and secured in bezels. The flat central areas feature raised relief ornamentation, while the upper section is further decorated with intricate motifs executed in wirework. The decorative treatment combines stamping, impression, carving, and wirework techniques. The substantial weight, complex construction, numerous stone inserts, and developed relief decoration characterize the bracelet as a notable example of traditional Kazakh jewelry craftsmanship. The object is well preserved, with stable metal and intact decorative elements.
