Description
The pair of clasps consists of two symmetrical decorative elements of pronounced diamond-shaped form. Each surface is decorated with five pinkish agate inserts and additional ornamental motifs. Nine pendants are attached to the lower section of each clasp, with the pendant arrangement framed by three agate stones. Each pendant terminates in a miniature leaf-shaped decorative element. The combination of 800 silver, agate inserts, and woven components creates a complex ornamental composition. The object is of artistic and historical-ethnographic significance as an example of 19th-century traditional jewellery and ceremonial female adornment.
