Description

Adalbakhan is a traditional Kazakh device for hanging and storing outerwear, headgear, items of horse harness, and other items. The object is a vertical metal stand with forged curved hooks arranged at different levels. The surface of the stand is decorated with shaped forged elements that give the structure a decorative character. The upper part of the rod ends in a forked hook‑like element, while the lower part consists of a supporting section with two protruding ends that ensure the structure’s stability. The lower part has a supporting structure that ensures the stability of the adalbakana. It belonged to the akyn, singer, and composer Akan Sere Kormasauli; it was made to order by Akan Sere by a blacksmith named Temirbai.
