Horse cloth

Description

Horse cloth of brown color consisting of 6 stripes, has trapezium-shape. Made in “terme” technique. On stripes placed patterns “tumarsha” of white and brown colors. Edged by velvet of dark blue color. Horse cloth bordered by band with pattern “alakurt” of dark blue color with fringe. Woolen threads, handmade. Length - 113 cm, width – 76-119cm. Obtained in 1984 from Keldibekova Zhalgas during expedition of CSM RK to Almaty region, Narynkol dis-t.
