Description

Alasha (wall carpet). Consists of stitched 13 woven stripes from twisted woolen threads of yellow, red, white, black, dark blue colors. The composition of ornament made in reblade technique terme. It includes alternation of stripes with patterns ushkilmuiz, tumarsha, synykmuiz, syrga, irek, baldak, zhuldyzsha. From one side on length sewn separately weaved strip, ornamented with patterns karmak, alakurt, su. Sewn 7 loops with fringe for hanging to kerege; other side stitched by woolen threads. 1st half of the 20th century. Woolen yarn, weaving, sewing. 152х163 cm. Made in Zhualtobe state farm, Suzak dis-t, South-Kazakhstan (Shymkent ) region.
