Leather wall carpet. The leather carpet made in stamping technique. It concerns to category of ancient carpets, as dates 1890. Leather used on the central field of high quality. Such type of leather manufactured only in 18th - 19th cc. The central field consists of four geometrical figures with inscribed patterns kosmuiz, ushzhapyrak, gulkauyzy. Center decorated by metal plates. Consists of five friezes of П-shaped form with patterns alakurt, zhapyrak, koreris. Lateral parts decorated by metal plates separated from the central field by narrow insert from fabric of light-brown color. Narrow border of central field and edges of carpet decorated by metal plates of various configurations with patterns alakurt and edged by red velvet. Underside from felt of brown color. Sewn eight loops for hanging. 1890. Leather, silver plates, felt, velvet, stamping, sewing. 103×228 cm. Alma-Ata (Taldy-Korgan) region.
