Table Kerosene Lamp

Description

A household lighting device widely used in urban and rural areas from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century. It served as a source of artificial light by burning kerosene.
The structure consists of a heavy circular base, a spherical fuel reservoir, and a metal burner. The burner section includes a toothed rim for fixing the glass chimney and an adjusting knob for raising and lowering the wick. The glass chimney and wick have not been preserved.
The object is made of metal and has a rounded volumetric form. Its surface is silver-colored. The metal parts show traces of wear, corrosion, and signs of prolonged domestic use.
Before the widespread introduction of electricity, such lamps were among the primary household lighting devices. The object represents an important example of historical household technology and material culture.
