Spring. Still Life

Description

Author: Dzhusupova, Olga. 1930-2009
Still life with a bouquet in a glass vase against an urban landscape, viewed through a window opening. The composition is intersected by the vertical lines of the window frames. Outside the window is an urban landscape with trees and the silhouettes of multi-storey buildings in the background. The manner of execution is graphic - built on delicate linear pastel hatching, with a predominance of light ochre-pink and beige tones. The form of the trees and buildings is rendered in a generalized way, without dense elaboration of mass. Bottom right - signature and date.
