A decorative still life based on the depiction of objects associated with tea drinking. Bread products are placed at the centre of the composition, with a cup and a teapot nearby. The composition is treated in a conventional decorative manner: the forms are generalized, the outlines are softly blurred, and the space has no strict depth. The colour scheme is based on muted grey-blue, green, and ochre-brown tones with small red accents. The free painterly manner and soft colour transitions give the work an intimate quality.
