Knee-length depiction of a seated woman in a long, bright yellow dress; her dark hair is drawn back, with large gold hoop earrings in her ears and, at her chest, a traditional necklace with turquoise-green inlays. The pose is relaxed, the figure slightly turned, the expression calm and welcoming. On the wall at left is a small framed painting; at right, on a small table, a bouquet of white flowers in a dark vase. The manner of execution is realistic and painterly-free, with broad, confident brushwork and soft chiaroscuro modelling.
