A portrait of a woman in traditional costume. A waist-length image, the figure in three-quarter view, seated frontally. On her head is a tall white kimeshek; she wears a dark green velvet kamzol with gold embroidery, her hands resting on her knees. The background is a generalized interior of a yurt with a fragment of its lattice frame (kerege). The colour scheme is built on a combination of deep dark green and blue with the warm golden-ochre accents of the embroidery and the light patch of the headdress. Signed at lower left.
