Description

A landscape composition depicting a rural road and a herd of cows against the background of an autumn foothill landscape. The slender silhouettes of trees with sparse foliage create the rhythmic structure of the space, while the road receding into the distance enhances the depth of the composition. The colouristic solution is based on a combination of ochre, grey-blue, and brown tones. The painterly manner, with its generalized treatment of form, conveys the atmosphere of a cool autumn day. At the bottom left is an author’s signature.
