Description

Money - a 1-riyal Saudi Arabian banknote. The exhibit is an example of the national currency that was in circulation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The obverse features a portrait of King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, a circular decorative element with Arabic script, and the inscription “Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency.” The denomination is indicated by the numeral “1”. The banknote is decorated with geometric patterns and ornaments in a national style.The reverse bears the inscriptions “SAUDI ARABIAN MONETARY AGENCY” and “ONE RIYAL”, as well as an image of a natural landscape and plants. Both sides of the banknote feature protective and decorative graphic elements, geometric patterns, and denomination markings. The banknote is made of special paper and produced using a printing technique.
