Description

The exhibit is a qamchy, one of the traditional items of Kazakh horse tack. It was donated to the museum collection by Igenbek Kurbanov, a resident of Kogershin village, T. Ryskulov District. The handle is made of jingyl wood and covered with natural leather. The lash is intricately braided from eight leather straps. A decorative leather tassel is attached at the junction of the handle and the lash.
