The shield is one of the traditional weapons of Kazakh warriors. It is a handheld defensive weapon used by Turkic peoples since ancient times. The shield is round in shape, covered with leather on the outside and felt on the inside. The felt is divided into two parts - white and black - and decorated with traditional patterns.
