Description

Part of the clay vessel ends with a conical leg, and on the other side, there is a hole. The vessel is positioned horizontally and was attached to two legs, one of which is lost. On the opposite side, there is a transverse handle. The water clock was made by potters and fired evenly without impurities. This special clay vessel was used to determine the water norm for irrigation. In other words, it was used to measure how long a field would be watered and how much water would be consumed during that time.
