Description

Plate of decorative belt - belt distributor. 8th -7th cc B.C. Gold. Casting, soldering, graining, incrustation. Size: length- 6,4 сm, width -3,4-1,8 сm, height - 1,9-1,4 сm. Weight - 72,30 gm. Standart - 900. Salient, badam form. The surface decorated with figures of mountain rams - argalies, soldered in three lines: 8 - in upper, first line, 4 - in the second, 5 - in the third. In upper line on edges from each party soldered one head of argali, making impression of endlessness of galloping animals. On argali trunks has cuttings - nests in the form of comma for inserts of semi-precious stones. The space between figures is filled with thick graining. In bottom part of pendant are soldered flat vertical plates covered by thick graining forming four nests for passing througt belts. To them soldered thin, horizontal plate.
