Description

Saddle. Made of carved wood. The front and back bows of the saddle are connected to the side parts and firmly fastened with leather straps. The front and back bows are covered with thin metal, and the surface is decorated with embossed ornaments. There is a place for a stone to be inserted in the center of the front bow, and the remaining traces show that it was decorated with stones around the circumference. The stones have been lost. The saddle has a woolen lining and is covered with fabric. The fabric is worn. The saddle cushion (körpeşe) is fixed with leather straps using metal buttons.
