The tagara is a flattened vessel with a truncated conical shape. Its walls widen upward and end with a flared rim. The lower part of the rim forms a wavy ridge. It is decorated with an underglaze ornament. Both the interior and exterior surfaces are covered with glaze. The tagara was made on a potter’s wheel from well-levigated brown clay.
