Description
A traditional household object used in the interior of a Kazakh yurt. The adalbakan is a wooden standing rack designed for hanging clothing, towels, and other household items. The object consists of an elongated wooden support fitted with metal hooks. It was placed vertically on the floor or leaned against a wall. Its lightweight and portable design was well suited to the conditions of a nomadic lifestyle. The artefact reflects the traditional organization of the interior space of a Kazakh dwelling.
