A multi-figure genre composition: a group of young women in national costume in a blossoming spring garden against a backdrop of mountains. The women wear white dresses with blue velvet vests (kamzols) and headdresses; one of them holds a dombra, the figures arranged in a semicircle. The space is built up in planes: in the foreground - the figures and the whiteness of the garments spreading across the ground; in the middle ground - blossoming fruit trees; in the distance - a mountain range. The colour scheme rests on a combination of cool blue tones with an abundance of white and green accents of foliage. The handling is broad and textured: the contours are generalized and the white is saturated with reflected light. Signed by the artist at lower right.
