Scythian Warrior Helmet

Description

The helmet is a protective headpiece cast in bronze. It has a conical shape with a pointed apex. The lower edge is cut to provide protection for the face and neck. The outer surface is smooth, with little or no decorative ornamentation. The metal has retained its natural dark gray patina. It is one of only three Saka helmets discovered within the territory of the former Soviet Union.
