As part of the implementation of the Memorandum on International Academic Cooperation, the “Bozok” State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve hosted an academic delegation from the Republic of Turkey from 13 to 16 May 2026.
The delegation comprised Selçuk Doğan, Director of the Centre for Language Studies; Mehmet Kutlu, Head of the Department of Art History at Bozok University; and Leyla Kutlu, an interpreter.
During the visit, the delegation was presented with a project to establish a National Park based on the medieval settlement of Bozok. The parties discussed the results of archaeological research, issues relating to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage sites, and the prospects for developing bilateral academic cooperation.
Following the meeting, priority areas for further cooperation were identified, focusing on the development of scientific and cultural ties between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Turkey, as well as the implementation of joint research and cultural-educational projects.
