On 26 June, the ancient archaeological site of the Botay settlement, located in the Aiyrtau District of North Kazakhstan Region, hosted the international ethno-festival “Botay - Culture of the Great Steppe and the Priceless Heritage of the Kazakh People”.
The festival featured ethnocultural and museum exhibitions, the exhibition by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the North Kazakhstan Region, and the exhibition of artworks dedicated to Botay culture.
The ethno-festival has become an important cultural platform for popularising Botay’s cultural heritage, promoting national values, and developing ethno-cultural tourism.
