Zhanaarkinsky District Historical and Local Lore Museum named after Saken Seifullin

"Zhanarka District Museum of History and Local Lore named after Saken Seyfullin" of the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of the Karaganda Region was created on the initiative of the WWII veteran, history teacher, honorary citizen of the Zhanaarka district Dalbai Iztoleuov. Starting in 1960, he began collecting exhibits, in 1984 the museum was officially opened for the 90th anniversary of Saken Seyfullin.

Museum directors: 1984 - 1993 Manat Kasenova, from the end of 1993 to August 1994 Baktiyar Koshmaganbetov. From October 10, 1994 to August 2006 Khamit Daribayev. From January 17, 2007 to May 22, 2019 Amanov Zamzam Miyashovich. Currently, the museum is headed by Zhangeldina Kulgadisha Uaisovna.
