The dagger has zoomorphic pommel in the form of the heads of two griffins in the profile, facing the beaks to each other. Beaks are strongly bent, eyes and ears are indicated by curls. The crosshair is destroyed, but it can be assumed that it was kidney-shaped or butterfly-shaped. The handle is round in cross section; blade lenticular. The whole dagger is made of iron, but the pommel is covered with sheet gold, the handle is wrapped around the turn with a twisted two-wire gold wire, the cross is decorated with small differently shaped gold plates (only two have survived). Narrow gold plates with miniature images of animals pass along the blade from both sides. Plates in the form of long, tapering ribbons gradually tapering to the point of the blade were attached to the blade with the help of small-toothed projections, which are available along the sides along the entire length of the plates.
