Description

A traditional woven floor covering widely used in Kazakh households. Handwoven from wool threads dyed in various colors. The surface is decorated with geometric and striped ornamental patterns. Both edges are trimmed with fabric. Alasha rugs were used as floor coverings in yurts, for interior decoration, and for various household purposes.
