On the reverse of the canvas, in the lower left, there is an inscription: “I hereby certify that this painting ‘Landscape with Gates to an Osteria’ (34×50) is from the brush of M.I. Lebedev (1811-1837). Member of the Expert Council of the State Russian Museum, Head of the Section, Senior Researcher of the Museum, T. Perova-Chakova. May 5, 1960. Stamp of the State Russian Museum.” In the upper right corner of the stretcher, there is a Nevzorov collection mark.
