Radio Receiver

Description

This exhibit is a portable radio receiver, model “FM/AM/SW1-2 4 BAND DSP RADIO M-U40”, that belonged to the poet Tursynzada Yesimzhanov.
The rectangular receiver features a body crafted from red and black plastic. The front panel incorporates a mesh-covered speaker on the left, a central built-in round “QUARTZ” clock with hands, and a frequency tuning scale on the right. The model designation and frequency bands (“FM/AM/SW1-2 4 BAND DSP RADIO M-U40”) are printed on the lower right corner.
Control switches and audio playback keys (Media Player) are located on the top panel. The device operates via a dual power system, running on both AC electric power (via power cord) and batteries. The artifact is fully preserved and represents a personal household object of the poet.
