Portrait of the Writer K. Idrisov.

Description

Author: Nurmukhammedov, Nagimbek. 1924-1986
A bust portrait shows a middle-aged man turned three-quarters to the left, with thick, wavy dark hair and a gaze directed past the viewer. He is dressed in a dark suit, a crisp white shirt, and a red tie. The realistic approach blends with free, expressive brushwork, while warm ochre and pinkish tones bring volume to his face through active, distinct strokes. A restrained palette relies on the contrast between the deep dark-blue suit, a smooth gray background, and the vibrant red tie. Concise and free of extra details, the composition places all focus on the sitter’s inner character and presence. At the upper left – signature and date.
