An expressive-decorative composition imbued with sacred meaning, set at a site of ritual reverence. In the lower part of the canvas are the silhouettes of several horses and human figures, rendered in a generalized manner with dynamic contour lines, moving toward the expanse of the lake. The upper part of the composition dissolves into a free painterly mass of brushstrokes, creating the effect of a radiant space. The manner of execution is characterized by vigorous, temperamental brushwork that blurs the boundary between figurative and abstract representation. Bottom right - signature and date.
