Janowiec on the Vistula. Poland

Description

Author: Dzhunusov, Marat. 1947-1999
An urban landscape depicting an architectural ensemble of European type. At the center of the composition is a building with a tower and dome in reddish-ochre tones; on the right, on a hill, stands a tall tower with medieval walls. Between the structures are trees with sparse autumn foliage, allowing glimpses of the architectural details. In the foreground is an open space with green grass. The coloring is warm; the manner of execution is loose and sketch-like, with a generalized treatment of architectural forms. Bottom right - signature and date.
