A half-length portrait of an elderly man seated on a chair in a half-turned pose. The figure is depicted resting the elbow of one arm on a table and the other arm on the back of the chair. His gaze is directed at the viewer. The colouristic solution is based on a combination of brown, pinkish, and light tones. The painterly manner is free, with a generalized treatment of form and attention to the psychological expressiveness of the image. In the lower left corner - signature and date.
