A landscape-animalistic composition depicting a mountainous landscape, where riders are shown in the foreground among conventionally rendered slopes and rocks. In the background rise massive mountain forms executed with broad impasto brushstrokes. The spatial composition is built on a dynamic rhythm of diagonals and the contrast of large colour masses. The painterly manner is expressive, with generalized treatment of form and emphasized texture of the paint layer.
