Jubilee Medal “50 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”

Description

The medal is circular in shape and made of gold-coloured metal. The obverse features relief images symbolising the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, together with commemorative symbols.
The upper part of the reverse bears a large numeral “50”. Below it is a raised commemorative inscription dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. All images, inscriptions and numerals are in relief. The edge of the medal is bordered by a raised rim.
The medal is attached by means of a suspension loop and ring to a pentagonal mount covered with a moiré ribbon. The right part of the ribbon is red, while the left part features alternating longitudinal black and orange stripes.
