Medal “30th Anniversary of Victory in World War II 1941-1945”

Description

The medal “Thirty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945” by Sedyelnikov L.E. The medal has a round shape. On the obverse side of the medal, against a backdrop of festive fireworks, is a relief image of the sculpture by Y.V. Vuchetich, “Motherland Calls.” To the left of the sculpture, on a laurel branch that descends, are depicted: a five-pointed star and the date “1945-1975.” On the reverse side of the medal, inscribed in the upper part around the circumference is: “Participant of the War,” in the center: “XXX years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945,” and in the lower part a relief image of a sickle and hammer on a ribbon. The edges of the medal are bordered. The medal is connected by a loop and a ring to a pentagonal mount, covered with a silk moiré ribbon featuring alternating longitudinal stripes of black, orange, red, and green. The edges of the ribbon are bordered with narrow orange stripes. On the reverse side of the mount, there is a pin-type fastener.
