Medal “30th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”

Description

P.I. Ganja’s Medal “30 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War”. The medal is round-shaped, and on the front side of the medal is the embossed image of E.V. Vuchetich “Motherland” sculpture against the backdrop of festive fireworks. On the left side of the sculpture, there is a five-pointed star and the date “1945-1975” depicted on a descending laurel branch. The upper part of the reverse side of the medal features an inscription along the edge that reads “Participant of the War,” while in the center it says “XXX years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945,” and in the lower part, there is an embossed image of the hammer and sickle on a ribbon. The edges of the medal are trimmed with a rim. The medal is attached to a pentagonal base covered with a silk ribbon featuring alternating black, orange, red, and green stripes through a hook and ring. The edges of the ribbon are trimmed with narrow orange stripes. There is a pin-like hook on the reverse side of the base.
