Medal “20 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”

Description

L.E. Sedelnikov’s Medal “20 Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”. The medal is circular in shape. On the front side of the medal, there is an image of a Soviet liberator soldier, with laurel and oak branches depicted below. There are inscriptions “1945-1965” on both sides of the statue. On the back side of the medal, the inscription “Twenty years of victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945” is present, with the letters “XX” in the center and a star against a background of radiating beams. The edges of the medal are framed. The images and inscriptions on the medal are in relief. The medal is attached to a five-pointed star by a silk ribbon covered with a strap through a hook and ring. The strap features three longitudinal alternating stripes in red, green, and black colors.
