Medal “Twenty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”. Awarded to: Dyomin M.S.
The medal is circular. The obverse depicts a sculpture of a Soviet soldier-liberator, with laurel and oak branches below. On either side of the sculpture are the dates “1945-1965”. On the reverse, inscriptions read along the circumference: “Twenty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945”, with “XX” and a star in the center against radiating rays. The medal’s edge has a raised rim, and all images and inscriptions are in relief.
The medal is attached by an eyelet and ring to a pentagonal mount covered with a silk moiré ribbon. The ribbon has three longitudinal alternating stripes - red, green, and black. The reverse of the mount has a pin fastening.
