RSFSR Settlement Sign

Description

Paper currency issued by the People’s Commissariat of Finance of the RSFSR and in circulation from May 15, 1919, to November 1, 1922. The main colors of the banknote are purple and black. The front side features the denomination in figures and words, the signature of the People’s Commissar of Finance of the RSFSR and the cashier, explanatory text, and the year of issue. The reverse side features the denomination, the coat of arms of the RSFSR, and the motto “Workers of the world, unite!” in Russian, German, French, Italian, English, Chinese, and Arabic. Watermarks are six-pointed stars.
