Description

“Mamaniya School” Model - a historical model representing the architectural layout of the Mamaniya School, built in 1899 in the Karagash locality and known as one of the earliest educational institutions in the Kazakh steppe. The model visually illustrates the organization of education at that time and the arrangement of auxiliary facilities located within the school complex.
The model consists of six parts: the school building, mosque, students’ dormitory, teachers’ house, dining hall, and storage building. The model provides detailed representations of the exterior architectural appearance of the wooden buildings, walls constructed from horizontally laid logs, windows and doors, as well as the shapes of the roofs. The arrangement of the buildings demonstrates that Mamaniya School functioned as a unified complex combining educational, religious and educational, and domestic facilities.
