Hum (large clay vessel)

Description

A khum is a large clay vessel intended for storing grain, water, and other liquid products. The vessel is brownish-red in color. Relief ornaments in the form of small round stamps are applied in eight places along the rim and lower part of the vessel. The vessel is large in size, has a wide neck, and was used for household and domestic purposes.
