Passing Red Banner

Description

A commemorative banner from 1970, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the USSR. Made of dark red velvet with gold fringe. The center features the USSR coat of arms embroidered in gold thread, with the inscription “KSSR” beneath it and the dates “1920” and “1970” on either side. The upper and lower sections contain inscriptions in Kazakh and Russian identifying it as a commemorative banner of the Taldykorgan Regional Party Committee, Regional Executive Committee, and Regional Council of Trade Unions.
