Hum

Description

The hum has a capacity of 50-100 liters. It is unpainted, handmade from clay, and its base is broken. The walls of the vessel are thick. The neck is wide, with the rim turned outward. The lower edge of the vessel is decorated with a rope-like band. The upper part of the body bears two rows of stamped impressions. The stamps are circular and decorated with a cross-shaped geometric pattern. The vessel has an asymmetrical body. The clay fabric is рыхлый (loosely compacted) and contains chamotte temper.
