Belt

Description

A decorative belt traditionally worn by Kazakh women. The belt consists of several rectangular silver plates decorated with traditional ornaments such as “qoshqar müyiz” (ram’s horn) and “sıñar müyiz” (single horn), and attached to a leather base. The plates are connected by small hooks, providing flexibility. Large rectangular silver fasteners with buttons are located at both ends of the belt and are used to secure it. Silver decorative buttons and additional rivets are placed around the fasteners, enhancing the decorative character of the piece.
