Description
The 1840 silver coin is a dual-denomination piece minted during the period of Russian rule over Poland. The reverse features the inscription “3/4 рубля 5 Zloty 1840” bordered by a leaf branch. The obverse displays the fourth pattern of the Russian Empire’s coat of arms, with the inscription “chistogo serebra 3 zolotnika 15 1/2 doli” along the rim. The edge of the coin is not distinctly visible.
